You came across just fine to me...

I was even surprised to see GGA show up. I'm guessing that this site has been around for a while since they picked you to talk to. I have only recently discovered the site...

Good job!

Tesanders

How about some screen grabs? How do we know you're who you say you are? Where were you on the night of the murder?

Actually, a transcript would be cool, too.

tim

I've watched my taped self talking about videogames tons of times.

I look and sound like such an asshole.

There's this one point in one of our off-the-cuff documentaries, filmed recently, where I accidently hit the channel button when trying to turn up the volume on the TV. Then I scream:

"IS THAT GENE HACKMAN? OH MY GOD IT /IS/ GENE HACKMAN!!"

As long as nothing like that happened, I'm sure you'll be okay, .

Jon

I saw your interview on tv too. The show was really great and I thought it was an impressive presentation on the history and future of gaming.

Thanks to the show on the game show network, it introduced me to your website. I am a 35 year old "gamegirl", so I am very interested in checking it out. Congrats on your t.v. spots! Great job!

"In 20 years the person in the White House will have played Super Mario Brothers." Pure genius. You should shop a gaming show to GSN/Sony TV or to Comcast's G3 network.

Late,

David

I just saw the program over here in Ohio and I must say, the program was really good! You were great in explaining about games and how girls are more and more getting interested in games and the industry today, this is my first time on the site and its because of the program I watched, Im a guy but I'll be having this site in my favorites folder :-) and checking it out from now on. We'll just wanted to let you know, have a nice day!

BrainFromArous

I started watching, but bailed after two back-to-back whoppers revealed the crap level of the show's writing:

Whopper #1 - The inclusion of Willy "Not a Father of Videogames" Higgenbotham as one of the fathers of videogames.

Whopper #2 - The claim, yet again, that the video game business is bigger than Hollywood.

Now, I know it's a show about video games and not congressional testimony, but still.

Based on what I've heard from friends who toughed the whole thing out, Jane did a good job. So kudos, Jane.

Now if we can only get Jane to replace that braindead Morgan Webb on X-Play, we might really have something.

Desdemona

I watched it last night, that's why I'm here. I'm a FFXI player and I was begining to believe that I was one of the only girls on there!

You looked great... I drooled a little...

PiksilRikku

Haha! Im very glad you were on that game sho whosted by Tony Hawk on the Game Show Network. I saw it last night and thats how I found your site. Good Job girl!

^_^

Aside from a couple quibbles such as those that BrainFromArous mentioned, I thought they did a pretty good job with it, although the pacing was a bit weird.

My girlfriend, who knows nothing about the industry or its history, had to ask what year they were talking about several times as the show jumped all over the place chronologically. On the bright side, I got to impress her with esoteric bits of gaming trivia.

I've read that airing the documentary was one of the first steps in a TNN style makeover for GSN/Game Show Network, as they begin to expand their coverage to gaming all all sorts. I'd guess it's working to some degree; the night I saw the above was the first time I'd ever landed on that channel.

PS2 _INFORMANT

I saw this a few weeks ago, very good program one of the few that I have watched on GSN. Anyway I think Jane's appearence was a major highlight to the show.
