You have to at least give them credit for trying to address one of the biggest real problems that existing D&D players have: not being able to get players together in one place. Whether this app will solve the problem, whether solving that problem will be enough, and whether existing D&D players will recognize the problem as being bad enough to merit going *gasp* online are all open questions.

A more interesting question, though: trying to solve the problem at all amounts to a tacit admission that D&D's player base is graying. (14-year-olds generally don't have as much of a problem getting together with their friends for six hours every week just to have fun.) Should they be concentrating on getting a new generation of players instead, and is there any way they can actually do that?
