Distract him!

Every morning I wake up and wonder if we're at war yet. I know we're all a little worried about it. So is Evil Ninja. But unlike the rest of us, he has a solution. Won't you please join him in his Buy Bush a Playstation2 Campaign? For, as Evil Ninja eloquently puts it, "Without the catharsis that video games provide, Bush has no way of fulfilling his militaristic fantasies other than actually fighting wars."

As I sat pondering the President's motives one day, it suddenly dawned on me that it is entirely likely our Commander in Chief has never played a single video game in his life. "Of course!" I exclaimed, startling my girlfriend, who was driving at the time. "Without the catharsis that video games provide, Bush has no way of fulfilling his militaristic fantasies other than actually fighting wars."

Our course of action is clear, my friends: We must help this man, and in so doing, help those whose lives will be affected by a full-scale invasion.

We of course cannot trust that Bush will eventually discover video games himself. They are not of his generation, and he is an extremely busy man besides. It is up to us, America, and so I propose the following: We must pool our funds and buy Bush a PlayStation 2.

NO, this is not an excerpt from a briefing paper for the Oval Office. President Bush is unlikely to see the assessment - unless he is hunkered over a PlayStation 2 console and thumbing through the manual for Socom: U.S. Navy Seals.

Did you see that they got linked to by Fark and they got enought donations and are actually sending a PS2 to the White House. and I went to highschool with the guy I coudn't be more proud.
