Finding Tony Van
Tony Van worked on Circuit's Edge, a game I love. Fortunately MobyGames not only collects the credits for old games, but it has linked them into a database. So you can find someone who worked on a game you liked, and then see what else they worked on - their Rap Sheet (Tony Van). Tony Van is a game producer who filled out the biographical information in his Moby Games profile. And, he linked to his web page, GoodSpear. There, he has a list of his Published Games; each company link leads to a page filled with stories about some of the 80s/90s in computer game publishing. What it meant to be a young person trying to find your way in this industry. These databases of historical information are invaluable. I am still hoping that someone will post some information on Troy Miles, a lead developer and programmer for one of my favourite old games, Neuromancer.
