A Personal Note

I wondered about whether or not to post this, as this is a focused weblog; but I think I will, because I'd still like to preserve the sense of community that has built around this little website.

Since Wednesday morning Justin and I have been wrestling with a very serious family emergency. I don't feel that now is the time to go into details, but I wanted to let all of you know that while GGA remains the work I love, my family must have priority for the time being. Therefore Justin and I will be going on hiatus for a few days. I encourage the other posters to continue, because I don't believe life shuts down during difficult times; but I'm afraid that Justin and I will be very distracted with other concerns.

Thank you all for your understanding. We will return, soon enough. I can't stay away.

Have a good weekend, think good thoughts, and I'll check in with all of you shortly. Take care.

Damn. I hope everything works out all right. Keeping my fingers x'ed. I'll see if I can't post some things here next week in your absence.

I've been working on a feature in my spare time at work (can't get access online at home yet), and I'll need your help in formatting it to appear like your new "features" look.

We can do that when you get back :)
