Hahaha, awesome! Posted by: PreacherBoy on October 31, 2003 09:54 PMNice one! I was on the London Underground the other day playing my GameBoy Advance, when some guy sits next to me and whips out his GBA SP...the show off, hehe. Posted by: DivideByZero on November 1, 2003 04:26 AMIs there "Gameboy Etiquette"? I saw a group of guys at the theater standing around playing their Gameboys, and since I had mine and a cable, I was tempted to see if they had any multiplayer games. My girlfriend was mortified. She thought a) it was geeky as hell and b) that they probably would think I was a weirdo. I figured, yes, gaming in public may be geeky, but geeky is "the new black". So, if I came up to you guys on the El (or subway, or BART), would you be down for a little Four Swords? Posted by: armaghetto on November 5, 2003 03:25 AMI would be pretty suprised if someone came up to me with a gamelink cable and was like.. wanna play? But not put off by it.. I'd be like.. what the hell.. Bring on the pain.. :P The only problem I could forsee is not having the same game. I mean, this is a loose comparison, but it's it kind of like walking down the street with your guitar, you see a group of people sitting there playing instruments and you say.. hey.. it might be cool to jam with these people. It's not unheard of, especially on college campuses... So, even though it might be kinda geeky of you to want to play, isn't it kinda geeky for them to already be playing.. so since your both geeks.. whip out that cable and kick some strangers ass.. :) Posted by: Niobium on November 5, 2003 11:38 AMIs it me or did everyone just miss whats really funny in this image? 'geeky is "the new black"' lol I like that! Posted by: Mark on November 6, 2003 04:05 AMIs it me or did everyone just miss whats really funny in this image? Posted by: misuba on November 6, 2003 03:00 PMlook beyond the game boy! I thought it was obvious...
