It's Good to be the King
Evidently gaming is king this In a poll conducted by Yahoo, over 132,000 kids participated and the top three toys requested are: #1: X-box #2: GBA SP Platinum #3: PS2 Although the Game Cube wasn't in the list of toys to be voted on for the top ten list, Yahoo claims that the list generated was "was compiled based on votes Yahoo! received from its users." It should be interesting to see if the Game Cube is still in second place in installed units come January 1, 2004. Comments
Well, who's to say 132,000 Yahoo! participants don't already own a GameCube? :D ..or PS2, for that matter. Xbox being number 1 might imply alot of those people already have a GameCube & PS2. Posted by: Draigon on November 24, 2003 05:43 PMI'm glad you mentioned that, because after I posted this, I started thinking along the same lines. :) Posted by: Bowler on November 24, 2003 09:15 PMThat's certainly the case for me :) Posted by: Lev on November 25, 2003 09:58 AMthis poll is lame. it wasn't kids who voted, it was primarily gamers from message boards, i'd wager. i voted in that poll and am 29. it was posted at the ign boards as well as other popular boards. and as mentioned, the gc wasn't even listed as an option. how weak.
