Chocolate > Kissing
From the BBC, more news stories about romance: Chocolate caused a more intense and longer lasting "buzz" than kissing, and doubled volunteers' heart rates. I love chocolate and all, but really, those people clearly don't know how to kiss. Posted by jane at April 16, 2007 06:59 AM | TrackBackComments
"I love chocolate and all, but really, those people clearly don't know how to kiss." Seconded. I'm going to file this with all of the chumps who claim X (surfing, skydiving, skiing, etc.) is "better than sex." Posted by: bowler on April 16, 2007 09:44 AM
I would echo your sentiments. They are definitely doing something wrong if they feel that way. I'm guessing that Dr. Lewis is lonely and in need of a Bowflex!! Posted by: AZ Manaba on April 16, 2007 08:13 PM
It's not certain that the study took a wide enough sampling either. Who was kissing who? And where were they kissing them (location-wise - get your mind out of the gutter!). Also of importance, what kind of chocolate was being used? British chocolate as a whole is FAR better than the crap passed off as chocolate here in the US. Same goes for Canadian chocolate. As for how the kissing compares, well, I married a Canadian girl before moving here, so someone else will need to comment :-) on April 16, 2007 08:58 PM
well, give them a break - this was a study conducted in Britain after all! would the results be different if the same study were conducted in france (where, i would submit, both chocolate and kissing are generally better than in great britain.) Posted by: jane on April 16, 2007 10:20 PM

You also need to take the observer effect into account: I don't know about the rest of you, but it's a little hard for me to get "in the mood" while a bunch of scientists in white labcoats are watching and I've got electrodes attached to my head. Kinda kills the romance buzz, y'know? Posted by: Ferrous Buller on April 18, 2007 10:11 AM
Hello I would like to recommend on a FREE great site I found for students and other 18 years old and up who are seeking sex experience. It's free real hot and sexy people. Tell to all your friends about this free site and enjoy http://www.adultclickfinder.com Jin on April 21, 2007 06:12 AM
Silly researcher. Don't ya know you can combine the two? =oP Posted by: bgamer on April 26, 2007 01:48 AM
Haha. Yea, chocolate's got nothin' on kisses. My girlfriend is quite the type who likes her physical contact. It's funny when the girl in the relationship is the one who's always initiating physical stuff... Anyways, point is, I completely agree with you--a truly good kiss beats chocolate any day of the week. Posted by: D3stiny_Sm4sher on June 7, 2007 02:48 PM
