LOL... Now I have to ask myself, how as inventory-management in adventure games affected the way I pack? I don't usually carry a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle around, so it must be something more subtle...


A few years back my parents were getting into stocks and currency trading so inevitably they were reading alot of books and going to alot of seminars on the subject. From more than one source, a common trend brought up was that people who play RPG's are more likely to be successful with economics. I'm not sure exactly how the studies were conducted, but it was a popular idea from alot of those tapes and books my parents were reading. They kept trying to get me into it because I love RPG's :)

I think there's a definite skill or logic process that comes from playing years of video games. If you think about it, that's why childrens toys are typically things like "Put this square block in the square hole." sort of games. Video games are just a further adaptation of that where you are learning more advanced skills. It's not a black and white thing, I'm sure, but there definitely is some correlation.
