Perhaps file this under "Japan *is* form the future":
From the same folks who brought you the Bowlingual comes a tiny, cute little toy remote-control car that you can "drive" with your mobile phone. Perfect for the executive who has everything!
P.S. The Bowlingual, for those who don't know, is a device which attaches to the collar of your dog and translates what your dog is thinking. Although it's sold in toy stores as a toy, it's hugely popular and many dog-owners in Asia apparently swear by it.
Cool, but I wouldn't buy it. I already have one of those tiny rechargable remote-control cars that I bought on a whim at a gas station for $10. I bet this mobile phone one costs over $100 and probably functions just the same.
However, if they had a mobile phone that could control my actual full-sized car (ala James Bond), I'd definately buy that. That'd really help with those tight parallel parking spaces in downtown areas.
